Hi, I’m Danielle Chappell, the founder of Munchkin Minders. My journey began with a simple, yet profound love for children.
In 2005, while on vacation in Hawaii with my family, I used a sitter service for my two boys. This experience sparked an idea: to create a similar service in my hometown, but make it even better. I envisioned a service that provides high-quality sitters and nannies, exceptional customer service, and all the little extras that truly make a difference. And thus, Munchkin Minders was born.
Growing up, I babysat my two brothers, two sisters, and the neighborhood kids. In my 20s, I became a nanny for two families while attending college. I cherished those children as my own and still keep in touch with the families. Now, as a mother of two amazing young men, I use my experience to create a service tailored for families, sitters, and nannies alike.
My oldest son, now 24, is a kind-hearted photographer with a passion for sports cars and technology. My youngest, now 22, is a witty, intelligent and lively individual who loves botany, science, and music. Being a mom has been everything I dreamed of and more. I LOVE being a mom!
