Hourly Rates Paid To Sitter (cash or check)

All babysitting services have a four hour minimum.
* For children with special needs, multiple families sharing a sitter, infants under 6 months and sick children, add $2 to the hourly rate.
Should sitter be required to transport child to/from activities, $0.50/ per mile will be charged.

For holidays, add $5 to the booking fees.
For all assignments, a booking fee/deposit will be paid to Munchkin Minders at the time of booking. This fee is payable by credit card.
For on-call assignments, 24 hours notice is required to cancel once a sitter has been assigned. If required notice is not given, client will be charged a $30 cancellation fee. Notice of cancellations made in 2 hours or less, will be charged the full four hours, including booking fees. If Client is merely re-scheduling for a different day in the same week with the same sitter, the full amount of the booking fees/deposit will be applied to the new assignment date.

We will use the information you provide to customize the right solution for your family's childcare needs.
For all holidays except New Year's Eve, holiday rates are calculated at 1.5 x our normal rates, and will apply to the following dates:
New Year's Eve (after 5pm), New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day (after 5pm), Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Rates for New Years Eve (after 5pm) will be $21/hour for 1-2 children, and $3 more for each additional sibling.
The purpose of the rate increase on holidays is to encourage availability on days when most sitters will have alternate plans.

Should sitter be required to transport child to/from activities mileage will be charged.
Children under 6 months will be charged at the 2 child rate.
For overnight assignments, 72 hours notice of cancellation is required once a sitter has been assigned. If required notice is given, client will be charged 50% the booking fee/deposit. If required notice is not given, Client will be charged 50% of the first 24hrs. booking fee and 50% of the first 24hrs. scheduled. If Client is merely re-scheduling for a different day in the same week, the full amount of booking fees/deposit will be applied to the new assignment date.
Once an overnight assignment has begun, should Client return home earlier than the scheduled return date, Client will be charged a minimum of one 24 hour period plus the standard hourly rate for each additional hour, or any part of an hour rounded to the nearest 15 minutes worked prior to Client’s return. If Client returns home less than 24 hrs. earlier than expected, client will pay Sitter the regular hourly rate for the remainder of time that Sitter was scheduled for. If the 24 hour rate is less than the standard hourly rate, Client will pay the lesser of the two.
Examples of the services we offer: grocery shopping, pick ups, deliveries, dry cleaning, post office, waiting for the plumber, electrician, etc. or any other things us busy Mommies and Daddies just can’t get to.
